Misting Fan Rentals
An outdoor event in a North Texas summer needs moving air, and a misting fan is the difference between guests staying and guests leaving early. This page explains what the fan needs from your site — water and power — and how to plan for both so it runs where you actually want it.
The 40-inch misting fan
A powerful misting fan built for outdoor events. It includes approximately 32 feet of misting hose, which connects to a standard outdoor water spigot. The hose can also connect to your own garden hose if you need more distance between the fan and the water source. It needs an electrical outlet as well.
Water
Measure from the spigot to where the fan will stand. Within about 32 feet, the included hose covers it. Beyond that, add a 100 ft water line extension — a separate rental made for this fan.
Power
The fan plugs into a normal outlet. If the outlet is not nearby, heavy-duty extension cords come in 50 ft and 100 ft lengths and are rated for outdoor use.
Placement
Fans work best at the edge of the seated area, pointed across it, so the mist reaches guests without soaking the food table. Under a canopy, a pedestal fan keeps the air moving.
Pedestal fans
An adjustable pedestal fan gives strong airflow without mist — the right choice indoors, under a canopy tent, or anywhere a wet mist is not wanted. Many events use both: the misting fan on open ground and pedestal fans under the shade.
What to add alongside it
- 100 ft water line extension — when the spigot is further than the included hose reaches.
- Extension cords, 50 ft or 100 ft — when the outlet is. Both carry a refundable deposit, listed separately and returned after the cord comes back in good order.
- Ice chest coolers in several sizes and a drinks fountain, because cooling the guests is only half of it. You supply the ice.
- Canopy tents with sidewalls for shade; delivery and setup are included.

- Customer pickup is offered where available and carries no delivery charge.

Build your list
Browse the catalog and add the misting fan, and the water line extension or cords if the site needs them.
Send your event details
Enter your event date, times and address, and send the request. The delivery charge appears before you submit; no payment is taken yet.
We review and quote
We check the fan is free on your date, review the setup, and send your final quote with the amount due.
Payment confirms the booking
Once the required payment is received and we confirm the booking, the fan is reserved for your event.

Misting fan questions
What does the misting fan need on site?
A standard outdoor water spigot within roughly 32 feet, which is the length of the included misting hose, and an electrical outlet. A 100 ft water line extension and 50 ft or 100 ft extension cords are available if either is further away.
Can I connect it to my own garden hose?
Yes. The misting hose can connect to your own garden hose if you need more distance between the fan and the water source.
Will it get everything wet?
It produces a fine mist rather than a spray. Point it across the seated area from the edge and keep it away from the food table, and guests feel cooler without being soaked.
Is a pedestal fan better under a canopy?
Usually. Under shade a pedestal fan moves air without adding mist, and many events use the misting fan on open ground with pedestal fans under the canopy.
